| Situated midway along
the Algarve coast, Birds de Pera is near
to one of the longest sandy beaches in the
Algarve and it;s just a A 45
minute drive from the Faro airport.
The main
beach is the ‘Fisherman's
beach'. Here, small boats are still pulled
up on the beach
every day when the fishermen come back with
a catch. There is an assortment of fish,
crabs, eels, octopus and various water creatures
the
fishermen
bring in.
There is a cliff top
walk along toward Carvoeiro and the old
part of town, behind the fisherman's
beach
has many
streets with
sidewalk cafés, shops, restaurants
and a cinema.
The property lies within 50 mts of the nearest cafe/bar and is only 5 minutes walk to the main town centre which has an abundance of Cafes, Bars, Restaurants and Nightlife.
There is a local supermarket within 200mts that sells everything that you need to fill the fridge and all at local prices
The resort is bustling with holiday makers in the peak summer months (July and August) when the beach and streets are filled with a mixture of Portuguese and English holiday makers.
The Spring and late summer months take on a more relaxed and laid back feel with all the amenities and attractions remaining fully open but there is a slower pace to the lifestyle.
Out of season the resort remains open due to the large local population that remains in residence all year round and there are still ample facilities to ensure a fulfilling and wonderful break
